We met Artur through Slow Food International and are so excited to have him return with his stories and experiences.

Private group with Artur for stories and discussion - 2:00 to 3:00 in sugar camp 
Artur's book will be available in our shop. At 2 pm he will be taking a small group (20-25) next door into the sugar camp to share some stories and discussion. There is no charge for this discussion; pre-registration is recommended. Email to secure a spot. 

About the Author

Artur Cisar-Erlach is a woodland ecologist, food communications expert, and cabinetmaker whose work spans the fields of food and ecotourism. He received his graduate degree in Food Culture and Communications at the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, Italy, and was an editor of the Slow Food International Travel handbook. He divides his time between Vienna, Austria, and Nova Scotia, Canada. The Flavor of Wood is his first book.
