This is our subjective view of trail conditions on the Rogart Mtn Trail.

NOTE

  • this is part of the Gully Lake Wilderness Trail system created + maintained by Cobequid Eco-trail Society
  • go HERE for their excellent tips on back country hiking + snowshoeing
  • tell Staff at Sugar Moon if you see any downed trees/branches on the trail + we will pass that on

NOTE if you haven't done Rogart Mtn Trail before, know that although it is only 6.2 km, it is a serious wilderness trail and gains quite a bit of elevation. It can take 2 - 3 hours to complete, or longer if breaking trail. Don't underestimate! Follow the usual safety instructions one would follow before wilderness snowshoeing:

Thursday March 23  LOTS of snow after the blizzard. You need snowshoes to go hiking. No trail broken yet on Rogart. Rent snowshoes HERE.
