Nestled in Earltown in the beautiful Cobequid Mountains of Northern Nova Scotia, Sugar Moon Farm (est. 1996) is an award-winning maple-syrup farm and 60-seat restaurant known for our seasonal, local maple-inspired cuisine as well as authentic culinary, heritage and environmental learning experiences. We are situated 20 minutes north of Truro and 20 minutes south of the Northumberland Strait in a region steeped in Mi’kmaq, Scottish and Acadian cultures and a rich array of food producers/growers, wineries, cideries, distilleries and craft breweries.
Sugar Moon welcomes 30,000+ guests from around the world year round. We have a very full and exciting year coming up and are looking for the right person to grow with us - someone who is excited about local sourcing, rural living, cooking with maple syrup and getting creative with food experiences. If you’re looking to move away from city life to a farm-based restaurant, this might be the position for you.
