Sugar Moon Farm, an award-winning family owned maple syrup farm and restaurant in Earltown, Nova Scotia has an immediate opening for a Cook with a passion for providing innovative, exceptional food experiences and who is excited about local food and the culinary tourism experience.


Start Date: ASAP

Hours: 25-40 hours year round. This position requires weekend and holidays availability.

Wage: Hourly wage + (equal share) gratuities


The right candidate for this position must be:

  • Experienced in preparing and presenting brunch in a busy restaurant setting
  • Hard-working, organized, very clean and efficient
  • Able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about local food
  • Committed to outstanding customer service
  • Excited about opportunities to grow and develop their kitchen and culinary skills 

Sugar Moon Farm is open weekends and some weekdays year round, and daily in July and August. We provide unique maple-themed culinary and educational experiences to visitors from all over the world through our

  • 60-seat fully-licensed restaurant
  • all-day locally-inspired breakfast
  • sugar camp tours
  • maple shop
  • hiking and snowshoeing trails
  • Chef’s Nights
  • Private parties
