Finally we've had some sap weather! These warmer temperatures during the day brought some sap and we boiled yesterday, Wednesday.
We collected some sap today...so it looks like we'll boil either tomorrow or Saturday. We'll update our voicemail once we know.
In the meantime, we're OPEN all Easter Weekend 9 am to 5 pm Fri-Sat-Sun-Mon. Avoid our busiest time (10 to 3) by coming early or later.
And consider coming up to Earltown on Saturday just for the annual Pancake Supper!
Saturday, March 31, 2018: The last Saturday of March every year, the community of Earltown hosts the best
Maple Pancake Supper around.
This supper has been held every spring for over 40 years...starting way back when Bob Williams lived and
worked on this farm.
WHEN? 10 am to 6 pm
WHERE? The community hall in downtown Earltown, just beyond Sugar Moon Farm at 5527 Hwy 311 toward
Tatamagouche.
WHAT? Volunteer-run breakfast all day...with live music! Pancakes, sausages, baked beans, biscuits and
sweets...and Sugar Moon Farm maple syrup that we proudly donate.
WHY? To experience a beautiful little slice of rural Nova Scotia life and to support the community hall.
These rural halls are the heart of the community and need upkeep. They are run by volunteers and need all the
support we can offer.
