11:55 am We're hanging up the chaps for another year! Yup, the sugar season is over.
This past week, we hoped for colder night-time temperatures that didn't happen. The trees started to bud, and all was done.
Our shelves are stocked. Breakfast is on, all day, all year (weekends year round, Daily in July + August). Snowshoeing is still the best way to experience the woods.
So despite today's snow and everything looking like mid-March rather than the end of April, sugar season is over for another year.
Our first boil was April 11. Our last was April 21. A short but sweet season.
Craving maple butter? We have some available in our shop, both online and on site.
Sugar Moon is OPEN year round, so plan your visit now. Our menu expands to a full breakfast after mid May - eggs, blueberry pancakes and more!

We're open Saturdays and Sundays in May and June and then DAILY in July and August. Right now, the weekends will still be busy with tours, all-day breakfast and snowshoeing (believe it or not!). We still have several feet in the woods and it's snowing again right now.
